has cancelled the celebration marking the 26th

following strong protests by anti-regime Iranian.
The Embassy has cancelled the booking at Montgomery
County's new hotel and conference centre, where the
function was scheduled to be held, after strong

The Washington Post reported yesterday.
The movement is an "American-backed organisation
working to oust Iran's fundamentalist regime," the
report said.
"If they allowed this, I would not be surprised if
al Qaeda celebrated their next anniversary in the
heart of New York," Imam Faroutan said. Foroutan's
Los Angeles-based group operates satellite
