IOTM’s Accomplishments

  1. Co-sponsorship and organization of the first Opposition Coalition ("Etelaf") conferences in Los Angeles and Washington D.C. At the D.C. conference the participants of the SOS coalition greed on the proposal and protocol for the Formation of an Opposition Executive Council in Exile.
  2. Launching of XTV- a 24-hour satellite network worldwide, on June 3, 2004.
  3. Launching of “RADIO JONBESH-E-IRAN”, a shortwave radio broadcasting into Iran on 7490KHZ. This program is broadcasting every night from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Iran time.
  4. Creation of Paltalk Internet room, with a capacity of 100, broadcasting one-hour live daily on XTV.
  5. Creation and development of the “Resistance Cells” organization, approaching the number 2050 by Feb. 20, 2005, with members from across the world, including Iran.
  6. Worldwide Media recognitions, including live KNX radio interview, CNN and newspaper articles in Washington Post, Pittsburgh Gazette
  7. A draft constitution for post Islamic regime is in place.
  8. Establishment of the IOTM’s ten principal goal.
  9. Creation of SOS IRAN, to bring together many political organizations under a common umbrella.
  10. Establishment of the IOTM’s monthly budget of $60,000 donated by individual payments of $5 - $1000 from more than 2000 cells.
  11. Establishment of the IOTM’s 11 multi-disciplinary departments to coordinate the movement.
  12. Creation of Coalition Coordination Council.
  13. Organization of the first coalition congress in month of March 2005.
  14. Collecting supportive signatures on various subjects to support freedom via “PETITION ON LINE”.
  15. Cancellation of the IRI’s annual party, celebrating the beginning of the IRI’s ruling in Iran (Feb. 6,2005) at the Marriot Hotel and conference center in Washington, D.C..
  16. Obtaining the support of Iranian superstar “GOOGOOSH” and other TV personalities.
  17. Formulation and implementation of multilevel civil disobedience projects including;
    • Project Khamoshe, “25 minute Blackout” on Thursday nights in Iran, from 9:00 pm to 9:25 pm, designed to protest against IRI brutalities and national solidarity.
    • Project “PASHEEZ”, asking fellow citizens in Iran to collect and save all the coins and small denominations. Shortage of change will impair many transactions, therefore crippling the Iranian economy.
    • Removal of the words ISLAMIC REPUBLIC form Iranian currency by marking over the bills in circulation. This will publicize people’s desire for the removal of Islamic Republic in its entirety.
    • Identification of the individuals associated with the Islamic Republic government system and their exposure to public.
